The processing of information concerning your person (personal and particularly sensitive data) is necessary to enable the proaktiv – service centre to establish contact with a specialist counselling centre.
Your personal data may only be processed legally with your consent. The proaktiv – service centre only forwards the data in the field with the grey background to the selected specialised counselling centre.
Additional personal data (checkboxes) is only required by the proaktiv – service centre to select the counselling centre best suited for your particular situation.
You can request all of your personal data to be erased by the proaktiv – service centre and the counselling centre (kontakt@proaktiv-berlin.org). Your data is confidential and only used for the purpose of establishing contact between you and the selected counselling centre.
Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

Purpose of processing
Personal data is processed for the purpose of referring persons affected by criminal offences to a specialist counselling centre suitable for them and establishing contact in connection with this.
Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is the consent of the data subject according to Art. 6 (1) (a) and Art. 9 (2) (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Duration of storage
The personal data will be erased insofar as they are no longer necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes mentioned her e or in accordance with the applicable regulations for the necessity of record keeping.
Data subject rights
The data subjects shall have the following rights vis-à-vis proaktiv – Service Centre for Victims of Crime as controller within the meaning of the GDPR:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
Insofar as the processing of personal data is based on consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR), the data subjects may withdraw their consent. The lawfulness of the processing remains unaffected until the time of the revocation (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
In addition, the data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.
